Supramolecular interfacial polymerization: a controllable method of fabricating supramolecular polymeric materials

Abstract

A method for supramolecular polymerization at the water–oil interface is developed. This process has many advantages, such as ease of operation, insensitivity to molar ratio and monomer concentration, and feasibility for immiscible monomers. It can be used to construct supramolecular materials with well-defined and controllable properties.
